Water WheelThis horizontal wheel is driven by a jet of water. In turn it is connected to a shaft which moves the stone grind wheel housed above. The water is "borrowed" from the nearby river by means of a canal and is then returned a little way down stream.

Flour Mill Working MuseumThis room is set up as a museum to demonstrate the tools used to cultivate the wheat before the milling process. The wheel is in working order and flour can be made here then kneaded, proven and baked in the adjoining room.
