Flowers May to July. Rocky slopes and screes. Does anyone have an alternative English common name?
We have often seen it growing around old castle ruins, perhaps cultivated for medicinal purposes.
Bluey green was a difficult colour to find!
|
|

Yellow / GreenSpurge
Euphorbia wulfenii
Lecheterna

This is not a conclusive identification of this spurge!

|

YellowJonquil

Flowers February to April. Damp meadows and roadsides.
This particular Jonquil grows in a damp gully dividing cultivated fields. There are many different variations in the flowering stem in the hundreds of plants, this one stood out as the flowers were all stacked on one side.
|

This is perhaps not the strongest coloured orange flower but deserves a place in the exhibition being only found here and in a small part of Morocco.
